Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was spotted disagreeing with one of his main coaches Ruud van Nistelrooy as the team dropped points against Aston Villa on Sunday.
It has been a terrible start to the season for United, with fans fearing we are in for a repeat of last season when the team finished eighth in the Premier League.
United are on a five-match winless streak going into the October international break, and we’ve only won two of our last nine matches across all competitions.
This has led to constant speculation surrounding Ten Hag’s future. The fact it’s been United’s worst start to a league campaign in 35 years only adds to the pressure the manager is facing to keep his job at Old Trafford.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Ten Hag appeared to be on edge during the match on Sunday.
Camera footage shows Ten Hag and Van Nistelrooy disagreeing about something.
We aren’t lip-readers, but disagreements are part of football. From the pub, terraces, touchline and the pitch.

Van Nistelrooy to become United manager?Photo by Carl Recine/Getty ImagesVan Nistelrooy joined United’s coaching staff this summer and turned down multiple managerial jobs to chase his dream.
The former goalscorer has also been linked with succeeding Ten Hag at Old Trafford, if the fellow Dutchman is sacked mid-season.
While Van Nistelrooy gained valuable experience during his time at PSV Eindhoven, he hasn’t done enough to get the United job on a full-time basis. It remains to be seen if INEOS will sack Ten Hag and go down the interim route after learning about the mistakes previously made when Ralf Rangnick was appointed temporarily.
The biggest question is can Ten Hag survive at Old Trafford? Can his team bounce back after the international break or is it too late?
